One Day Motorbike Tour Around Hanoi Itinerary
To get out of Hanoi safely, we will have a short briefing to let you know about the rules. In addition, the guide will show you how to understand him by his body language. Finally, we start around 9.30am after the rush hours for this one-day motorbike tour. In fact, we only have enough time to explore the two places below. Honestly, they are the best destination on two wheels in less than 10 hours.
We first ride on the river road and turn to Phung. Then join Road 32 until Son Tay before heading up the mountain top of Ba Vi. If time allows, we will stop at the nearby Dong Mo golf course.
Ba Vi and Dong Mo golf course
The Ba Vi mountain range is a soil-limestone mountain range, about 50km Southwest from Hanoi. In reality, it covers an area of about 50 km2, the peak is 1,296 m high. In Vietnamese mythology, this mountain is the home of Son Tinh, the mountain god.
Dong Mo golf course is Vietnam’s first 36-hole golf play field, near Ba Vi. It covers a large area and offers a good view of the lakes, green grass and also a place to relax.
This is one of the most popular destinations for one-day motorbike tours out of Hanoi.
After lunch at a restaurant in Ba Vi resort, we head down to Duong Lam ancient village.
Duong Lam ancient village
About 40km Southwest of Hanoi near Son Tay, Duong Lam was the first ancient village recognized at Vietnam’s national level on 19 May 2006. It is a great chance to explore the architecture of ancient houses while wander along its narrow alleyways, visit temples dedicated to the two kings who were born there (Phung Hung and Ngo Quyen), and most interesting of all, chat with locals living in the ancient houses. In reality, Duong Lam village has about 800 ancient houses. Two famous places are Sung Nghiem Tu (Mia Pagoda) and Mong Phu Temple. Mia Pagoda is on a small hill in Dong Sang Hamlet.
